Six Feet Under

(Q) "Why do people have to die?", "To make life IMPORTANT"
-- Six Feet Under -- Nate Fisher.
So what is up with me and Six Feet Under, well I like the show and that's to say I've only watched two seasons of it the first & the last. Yeah and it's weird that I like a show I hardly got to watch but I never forgot about this show after watching it for the first time. And my reason for writing about it tonight is that I watched the Six Feet Under - In Memoriam yesterday and the quote from above gave me more than sufficient reason to blog about it.
Well, I really liked this show because it went above and beyond what we are used to watching on TV. First it deals with death and not the death that we watch everyday in movies such as Scream, or Friday the 13th. But instead it deals with how people react to someone's death, and how a family who grew up in a funeral home deal with death. First their whole lives this is what they face on a daily basis but then their father dies and then they are having to deal with the death of someone closer but not always there because of his "other" relationships. Well anyways to sum it up it's about a "Fucked up family" and the many "adventures" they faced after their father died and yadi-yadi-yada. But anyways a few quotes that I obtained from the "Memoriam" of this show due to air it's final episode this Sunday night. STAY TUNED!!!
But anyways I'm going to sign off with a few quotes, there were a few that I really liked:
1) "Life is what happens while making other plans" --John Lennon
2) "Death will shut you up right quick so if you have something to say in this lifetime just say it." --Peter Krause (Nate Fisher)
3) "You Can do anything, You lucky bastard your alive" --Nathaniel Fisher (dead father)
"It can't be so simple"-- David Fisher
"What if it is" -- Nathaniel Fisher
